    Geography & Multipliers

Regional and subregional pricing coefficients used by the vacancy pricing engine.

How multipliers are determined Methodology, evidence and governance
Multipliers are commercial pricing coefficients informed by labour-market and economic evidence. They are not direct reproductions of any single official statistic. The current values should be treated as calibrated planning assumptions until Talento has sufficient first-party conversion, demand and time-to-fill data.

    1. Geographic multiplier

The regional coefficient is intended to reflect the relative commercial value and recruitment conditions of each Italian market.

    • Economic capacity — 35%: GDP per capita, household disposable income and value added.
    • Labour demand — 25%: planned hires, employer demand and employment growth.
    • Recruitment scarcity — 25%: roles reported as difficult to fill and candidate shortages.
    • Employer-market density — 15%: concentration of employers, professional roles and major business centres.
    Regional Score = 0.35 × Economic Capacity Index + 0.25 × Labour Demand Index + 0.25 × Scarcity Index + 0.15 × Employer Density Index Regional Multiplier = MIN(1.20, MAX(0.85, Regional Score))
    Current status: planning calibration

    2. Province / subregion adjustment

Province-level adjustments are currently inactive in Revenue Planning. The retained model is designed as a future refinement for major metropolitan and specialist hiring centres.

    • 1.00: standard province.
    • 1.02–1.05: strong provincial employment centre.
    • 1.06–1.10: major metropolitan or national hiring centre.
Final Geographic Multiplier = Regional Multiplier × Province Adjustment

Potential drivers include vacancy concentration, employer density, average remuneration, head-office concentration, specialist-role intensity and hiring competition.

    Current status: inactive

    3. Specialisation multiplier

Specialisation groups currently remain neutral at ×1.00. The methodology below defines how future differentiation should be calibrated.

    • Difficulty to recruit — 35%
    • Employer demand — 25%
    • Compensation level — 20%
    • Required qualification — 10%
    • Commercial urgency — 10%
    Specialisation Score = 0.35 × Scarcity + 0.25 × Demand + 0.20 × Compensation + 0.10 × Qualification + 0.10 × Urgency Suggested Range: 0.95–1.15
    Current status: neutral ×1.00

    4. Pricing formula

The multiplier framework affects vacancy pricing only where the relevant commercial rule permits it.

Final Vacancy Price = Base Price × Region Multiplier × Province Multiplier × Specialisation Multiplier × Promotion Multiplier × Quantity × (1 − Volume Discount)

Composite Resume Database + Vacancy packages remain fixed products and are not automatically rebuilt from the standalone vacancy base price.

    Evidence base and references

Governance: multiplier values should be reviewed at least annually. Once Talento has sufficient transaction history, the model should incorporate first-party evidence such as quote conversion, realised price, employer segment, vacancy response, time-to-fill, candidate scarcity and repeat purchase behaviour. Any change should be versioned, approved and accompanied by a short calibration note.
